Hide and Seek vs. Time out

Today Alana counted to 4 all by herself. She was in the tub and it was so cute to hear her count all by herself. I am not sure if she picked up counting from me (having to count to 3 before either her or Rylan gets time out) or if all our games of hide and seek are paying off. I hope it's the later one. Hide and seek is one of the kids favorite games. We usually play once a day if not more (and we alternate between that and Duck, duck, goose. So we have been counting a lot lately.) Alana you are so cute and smart!!!!! Great counting today!!!!

Numero Uno

Today Rylan wore a pull-up with GREEN (his "new" favorite color) Thomas Train under pants over top of it. He stayed dry all day long and told me when he had to "go potty" This is a major break through for us since we have been working on the potty training thing for a while now. We even went out in public to a few stores and he told me at the store. I am so thankful for such a sweet, wonderful, smart little boy. He is truly an amazing 3 year old! Good Job Rylan!!!!!

Proud Mommy

Today in Primay Rylan got up and gave the Article of Faith (the first one) with the help of his daddy. It was really cute and he did such a good job. He spoke really clearly and was cheerful and happy. I love him so much and it is times like this that make it all worth it!!!! I am such a proud mom!

Yes, I finally got a blog. This is a big step for me since I feel technology challenged (not as much as some people I know though). My intent is to keep a better record of the happenings of my life and my familys life, update people on The Simister Family, pass along good recipies (because who dosen't want those), tips and anything else I think of.
